After a couple of  frantic days I finally managed to pull some stuff together for the Trinity Art fair.  It went swimmingly enough, though I'm pretty sure that no-one could make a good living crafting!  I shared a table with Jay, and all together it looked swede.  Here's some pictures of my wares...

Submerge into the place you love

This is a waterproof hammock I have created. It is quilted with red lining and zips up from the inside. It is still in the prototype stages and so it doesn't have the ventilation panels that it should do.

Goosey Goosey Gander

Some photos from a collaborative project I did with Meg Buick a couple of years ago. Not exactly breaking news, but worth posting because I'd forgotten how much fun we had. I'm going to try to do more things that were as satisfying as that little giant wicker bird.

Balaclava Love

One of them didn't really come out right. That would be down to the fact that I can't crochet and seemed to have overlooked the need to do this when beginning the pattern. I still think that they're quite funny in the least.

A Joy and a Sadness

The sadness is that these delicious delectables aren't vegan.

Sexy Things in Knitland.

I've been tracking down some obscure patterns/ images recently; to make as presents. I came across a few that I felt are worth sharing.

this is great... its a hat that looks like a chicken you're about to put in the oven or something:

there are a range of balaclavas on here that are all just amazing. My favourite is the one that makes it look like hair. I'm currently knitting the man's one for my dad's birthday. I'll have it finished by next week; can't wait.

The Good Ship Powell

Better photos soon when I can get my hands on an SLR!

Frame stripped and primed...

About half the things that came off the frame. Taking it apart was the easy bit.

So far, the ship has had no problems, surviving an arduous maiden voyage in France and Spain. Commissions undertaken - fancy joining the fleet?
